Happy “Gotcha Day” to Scooby!

Six years ago today, an old, fat, greasy miniature pinscher sunk his rotten teeth into my heart. We are celebrating his “Gotcha Day” with special cookies, a walk with the KC Pittie Pack and lots of snuggles!

Look out for Scooby-themed posts throughout the rest of this week.

In the comments, please wish my elderpin a happy “gotcha day” and tell us how you celebrate your relationship with your dog.

  1. Love the term “gotcha day”! We celebrate one of our dogs “gotcha day” with a bath, extra biscuits throughout the day, and of course large amounts of, “Who’s a good boy?”

I have celebrated with my guys in different ways over the years, sometimes with ice cream, sometimes with liver cake but my favorite celebration is a pup party, I make a liver cake and we share it with other four legged friends with party hats 🙂 Some of the dogs like the hats and others are, well humiliated 😉

  3. Happy Gotcha Day Scooby!

For Boomer and Dottie we celebrate birthdays instead with special treats, extra walks and car rides, a special dinner and of course lot and lots of extra ear rubs and butt scratches. It’s their special day!

  4. Happy Gotcha day to you all! You each got something wonderful! If we are celebrating anything in this house, Melvin gets a car ride. Hitting the open road is his heaven on earth.

  5. Happy Gotcha Day, DJ Scribble Scrabble! You know I love ya, buddy! 🙂
